The fast-drying WEICON zinc sprays offer long-lasting protection against corrosion for all metals. WEICON zinc spray is a zinc rich cold galvanising compound providing durable cathodic corrosion protection for all metal surfaces, e.g. hot-galvanised parts. Due to its high content of zinc (92-93%) in the dry-film the product formula exceeds the requirements of the new DIN EN ISO 1461 (draft). WEICON zinc spray „bright grade“ matches the colour of hot galvanised surfaces. WEICON zinc sprays are dust-dry after 15-30 min. and can be filled and painted without pre-treatment after approx. 12 hours. The temperature resistance is up to 500°C („bright grade“ up to 300°C). Application range: • As highly effective antirust primer, e.g. for car body painting • For touching up drilled, cut or welded sections • As conductive intermediate layer in spot welding • Whenever metal has to be protected against corrosion
